Remmy’s Catering provides a complete range of services, from planning assistance and staffing your event to managing rental items.

Consultations and Tastings


Remmy’s Catering is an off-premise caterer in the Seattle metropolitan area. Remmy’s also provides catering services to other venues, including homes, offices, parks, churches, and boats.

The event host or hostess makes arrangements for the rental facilities. We are happy to make recommendations and can provide you with a list of event sites.

Unless your event site has its own chef and dining area, you are allowed to choose your caterer. Remmy’s will contact your facility to find out any other requirements they may have for caterers. When you select your facility, please make certain that there is enough time for catering set-up and clean up. The amount of time needed will depend on the services we are asked to provide.


We can create a custom menu from our many selections, taking into consideration such factors as the time of day of the event, season, and clients’ special dietary needs. Discuss any budget restrictions you may have. We can make recommendations that that will help your dollar go further.

Our food is prepared and stored in our licensed, full-service kitchen in downtown Issaquah, where the highest standards for food service preparation, handling, and storage are constantly monitored and maintained.


We can arrange tastings and sampling of offered menu items at our kitchen. We charge a fee for the food and labor required (a minimum of $35 per person). Payment is required prior to the tasting.

Wait Staff and Bartenders

Our servers and bartenders are professional and personable. For formal events, they wear tuxedo shirts with tie and black slacks or skirts. For more casual events (such as picnics), our servers will dress appropriately but professionally.

Wait staff required to properly service your event can be provided at $20/hour for each server. Bartenders can be provided at $27/hour (plus gratuity) for each bartender. Remmy’s wait staff are paid directly by the host or hostess. We recommend:

  • Appetizers: Two servers for every 50 guests, minimum two servers.
  • Sit-down meal: Two servers for every 25 guests, plus a chef (also for events that require on-site grilling or cooking).
  • Buffet: One server for every 30 guests, minimum two servers.

Staff scheduling is portal-to-portal, both driving to and returning from the event, and may also include time required to load and unload food and equipment at Remmy’s kitchen. Remmy’s staff will provide all requested set-up and clean-up for food and beverage service. Scheduling of our staff, food preparation, delivery, set-up, etc. will be based on the hours of your event. There will be a minimum $100/hour charge for non-contracted extended hours.

Tables and Decorations

For your event, you may need tables, chairs, linen, china, glassware, stemware, flatware, etc. You may either arrange for them yourself or have Remmy’s provide them. Our Event Planning Checklist is a comprehensive list of items you may need for your event.

Our serving pieces, utensils, and equipment for food and beverages are included in the food total. We can provide dinner service for 250 guests for a minimal dishwashing and transportation fee. We also have a selection of table decorations (excluding tablecloths) that can be provided at no extra charge.

Serving Pieces

Remmy’s has a large inventory of beautiful serving pieces including antique and silver platters, bowls, tiered dessert display pieces, punch bowls, baskets, depression glassware, theme party service-ware and decorations. Our dishes showcase our delicious foods and hold them at the safest temperature. We also provide all appropriate serving utensils.

Dishes and Glassware

Remmy’s can provide china, silverware, a champagne fountain, punch bowls, chafing dishes, wine and champagne glasses, etc. on a first-come, first-serve basis for a minimum dishwashing and transportation fee. Twelve-ounce pilsner glasses can be rented for $.65 each. Remmy’s can also provide paper products through our retail purchasing service.


Remmy’s will decorate the food serving tables using our items, the host’s, or a combination of both. We have many decorations and “build ups” that we can provide to make your presentation as beautiful or theme-orientated as our food.


Most event sites will have, at least, tables and chairs. The remaining items must be brought in. If Remmy’s provides the rentals, we charge rental company price plus an 18–20% service fee.

Retail Purchase

Remmy’s is happy to purchase needed items on your behalf. Items might include paper and plastic products, ice, or other beverages for your event. For this service, we charge the retail price plus an 18% handling fee. For beverage purchases, the fee also covers handling, storing, chilling, and providing necessary service pieces.

Additional Arrangements

Other aspects of the event, such as floral arrangements and entertainment, may be provided by the host of the event or Remmy’s. Remmy’s has many recommended resources.
